‘One who is dipping into the same dish will betray me.	‘It is one of the Twelve, one who is dipping into the same dish will betray me.
The Son of man is going to his fate, as the scriptures say he will, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! Matthew: ‘Not me, surely?’ ‘The words are yours.’

‘One of you will soon betray me, one of you who eats with me.
It is one of my disciples, one who dips in the dish with me.’
‘Not me, surely!’ the disciples asked in turn.
‘Not me, not me!’ Jesus said, ‘The words are yours.’
‘One of you will soon betray me, one of you who eats with me.
It is one of my disciples, one who dips in the dish with me.’

‘Who is it, Lord?’ ‘It is the one to whom I give the piece of bread that I dip in the dish.’ When he had dipped the bread he gave it to Judas. At that instant spirit entered him. Jesus then said, ‘What you are going to do, do quickly.’

When Judas had taken the piece of bread he went out. It was night.
